Bluebeard:
Food for thought:
1. Bluebeard gives his brides all she's ever wanted and access to all his rooms except for one. Does this remind you of one of the first stories we were ever told? Adam and Eve perhaps, the tree of Knowledge? Why are we drawn to things we are told explicitly that we cannot have? Bluebeard also reminded me of another story, Beauty and the beast. Dude, she fell in love with the guy that kidnapped her.
2. There are predators all around us, however, could you be your own predator?
3. Who is your predator?
4. Why do we go against our instincts? The inner voice? When you look back could you have known that this was not a good idea? " However, a little pleasure out in the woods causes her to overrule her intuition" ( sound familiar?)
5. Did life prepare you adequately for predators?
6. Did anyone protect you from your predator? ( Why did the older sister leave her to marry him even though they had a bad feeling and left? And the mom?)
5. Page 62: Ever had sleep paralysis? The dark man dream.
6. You can conquer the predator. You can go back to wild woman nature. " When the soulful life is being threatened, it is not only acceptable to draw the line and mean it, it is required. When a woman does this, her life cannot be interfered with for long, for she knows immediately what is wrong and can push the predator back where it belongs." And this my dear pack is how I'm getting my liberation.
Shadi.
